Beautiful hand crafted pounamu drop earrings made in Kirikiriroa - Hamilton, NZ. 

Kawakawa is a highly sought-after pounamu variety, ranging from rich green to intense dark green almost black, often with small dark inclusions. Due to its abundance and ability to hold most shapes, it is a popular choice for carving. Its name is derived from the kawakawa leaf, also known as the Pepper tree.

Made from Kawakawa pounamu, measuring approximately 68mm L x 8mm W. Set on sterling silver hooks. Supplied in a natural cotton drawstring bag.
